Priests of Ra
Priests of Ra is a stand-alone board game that reworks Reiner Knizia's popular and classic Ra.
The game spans 1500 years of Egyptian history where the Priests of Ra seek to extend their power and fame into the mortal realms. You'll do this by controlling workers, buildings and other priests while attempting to construct the pyramid and fighting off plagues.
Gameplay: Priests of Ra has most of the same rules as Ra but with different scoring tiles and the addition of an ability for the Priests - flipping.
During the game, players bid for and win the tiles that are drawn from the bag. With 3 or 4 bidding numbers, each player must decide which type of tile placements they wish to collect to score their points. A Priest that is bid and won can also 'flip' the double-sided tiles, an ability that provides additional flexibility in the scoring.
